What EIL enlistment means

Who EIL is: Engineers India Limited (EIL) is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Established in 1965, it delivers engineering consultancy and EPC services, chiefly for oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
Why it matters: As a consultant, EIL is required to keep its own list of suppliers for the projects it executes, and it enlists an Indian manufacturer only after reviewing its documents and surveying its works.
